In a very uncertain economic environment, HR managers challenged to do the “right thing”. War for talent, reshoring and friend shoring, broken supply chains leading to work interruptions, high inflation leading to challenging demands by employees (and unions) and many more complex demands render the daily life of HR managers very interesting, to say the least. In addition, they are confronted by work from home, cross-border working, changed renumeration and evaluation structures, large lay-offs in some industries while other industries struggle to find talent, new policies on meetings, travel, office presence and events.

Many HR managers face the question: What do I need to do to succeed in the New Normal?

At this year’s HR personnel Forum, you will learn about the macro-economic background and about the results of the latest edition of the UBS Annual Compensation Survey from Dr. Daniel Kalt, Chief Economist of UBS Switzerland. You will then hear from proven HR managers about “what keeps me up at night in these times of upheaval” and how they deal with their concrete challenges. And finally, the discussion between the participants, all HR experts and managers, will bring to light many additional facets of the HR challenges.
