Continuation of Successful Growth Strategy in Region Americas

Thomas Hasler has served as CEO of the Sika Group since May 2021 and Member of Group Management since 2014. Thomas has enjoyed a long and successful career at Sika. He joined the company in 1989 as a chemist for Industry Adhesives. In 1995, he moved to the business segment Automotive, where he held various management positions in Europe and North America. In 2014, he became Chief Technology Officer and was appointed as a member of Group Management. After spending four years in this function, he took over the role as Head of Global Business and Industry. As a longstanding member of Group Management, Thomas has significantly contributed to the development and implementation of Sika’s successful growth strategy. 

In his current function as CEO, he has taken steps to further strengthen Sika’s market position by bringing innovation and sustainability under one leadership, further developing strategic partnerships throughout the value chain, and increasing the focus on digitalization in customer contacts and the company’s own operations. 
 
Born in 1965, he is a Swiss citizen and holds degrees in chemical engineering and business engineering as well as an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen.
